Bedi is an actress, model and a TV presenter along with being the creative mind fueling Mandira Bedi Designs. In 2013 she launched a sari line and debuted as a fashion designer at the prestigious Lakme Fashion Week. Whilst working as an actress, she grew rather acquainted with the sari.  Her designs are made from net, satin, georgette, silk and chiffon. She is involved in all the details, 

colors, fabrics and silhouettes of her designs. She designs for the young, for the old, and brings to the table a certain timelesslness to her pieces.
